Sophie Church is a professional historian based in Melbourne.
Her work has encompassed educational, biographical and architectural research and writing and she particularly enjoys exploring personal experiences of historical events.
She is the author of The Story of Ipswich Grammar School 1863-2013 (awarded Silver, Queensland Heritage Awards, 2013) and A Soul Unsheathed: the life and death of Lieutenant Walde Fisher.
